Sri Lanka, Dec. 19 -- Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunneththi told Parliament yesterday that over 29,649 businesses island-wide and industries across all categories have so far reported damage from Cyclone Ditwah according to preliminary data compiled by the Industries Ministry.
These businesses and industries' now have been registered with the Ministry of Industries and the government will provide Rs. 200,000 to each damaged business and industry.
The Treasury has granted Rs.1 Billion yesterday to the Ministry.
