Sri Lanka, Feb. 12 -- The Sacred Devni Mori Relics of the Buddha, brought to Sri Lanka on February 4, were taken back to India yesterday after the successful conclusion of the Exposition at the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo.Sri Lanka travel guide

The Sacred Relics were accompanied by Mangubhai Patel, Governor of Madhya Pradesh and Chowna Mein, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh on their return journey. At the ceremonial departure in Bandaranaike International Airport, Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, Deputy Minister Gamagedara Dissanayake, and the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha were present to see off the Holy Relics.
