India, Dec. 1 -- Affects 273,606 families across country Over 180,499 individuals displaced

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has reported that over 330 deaths have occurred so far as a result of the severe weather conditions brought about by Cyclonic Storm 'Ditwah', while more that 370 individuals remain missing.

The disaster has affected 273,606 families, amounting to 998,918 individuals across multiple districts. Among the worst-affected areas, Badulla has recorded the highest number of fatalities, reporting 71 deaths and 53 missing persons, followed by Kandy, which has recorded 66 deaths and 105 missing persons.
