Srilanka, May 22 -- Two individuals have been arrested in Weeraketiya, Hambantota, after police seized over 100 kilograms of heroin from a house in the area.

The operation was carried out based on intelligence received by law enforcement authorities.

The suspects are currently in custody as investigations into the drug trafficking operation continue.
