Sri Lanka, May 30 -- Severe weather conditions have impacted 1,757 individuals from 485 families across nine districts in Sri Lanka, according to the latest update from the Disaster Management Centre (DMC).

As of 9:00 a.m. today, one fatality has been reported in the Puttalam District. In addition, eight people have sustained injuries due to weather-related incidents.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as efforts are underway to support the affected communities.
