Sri Lanka, Jan. 6 -- The Director of the National Dengue Control Unit, Dr. Kapila Kannangara, reported that 1,019 dengue cases have been recorded across Sri Lanka in the first four days of the new year.Sri Lanka Employment
Dr. Kannangara made the announcement during a media briefing held yesterday (05) at the Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government, aimed at raising awareness about the ongoing three-day national dengue control program.
According to the latest data, 561 cases were reported in the Western Province, 135 in the Southern Province, 85 in the Central Province, 69 in Sabaragamuwa, 42 in the Northern Province, and 48 in the Eastern Province.
