Sri Lanka, March 22 -- JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva yesterday said that NPP Government wants to create a local government representative who is committed to the service of villagers without depending on contracts and other perks. He added that the NPP has fielded representatives to all Local Government bodies who are free from corruption and fraud.

Speaking at a press conference in Battaramulla, Silva expressed confidence of NPP's victory at the upcoming Local Government Election.
