Sri Lanka, Feb. 5 -- Would a developing country such as Sri Lanka be caught up in supreme folly if we are to be a zero carbon emitting nation as planned, when the rest of the world may be now having a serious rethink about green-energy after the U.S.A is promising to drill for oil and forget the Paris climate accords?

To some, this would be a preposterous question. They would say Trump is the aberration, and that the rest of the world doesn't follow U.Spolicy which is now definitely not climate friendly,by Paris Accord standards. But the rest of the world is not going to stand aside and watch if one of the major so called polluters potentially refuses to cut down on so called greenhouse gas emissions.
