Sri Lanka, Nov. 6 -- All opposition Members of Parliament have been summoned to a special briefing today (6) to discuss the upcoming 2026 Budget and the opposition's coordinated response.

According to SJB General Secretary MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara, the session is scheduled to take place at 2:00 p.m. in Colombo.

The meeting will feature presentations by several experts, who will provide detailed analyses of the national economy, the proposed budget, and the country's future economic direction.

MP Madduma Bandara said the objective of the session is to prepare opposition MPs with essential information and key talking points ahead of the parliamentary budget debate.
