Sri Lanka, Feb. 2 -- Online payment facilities were introduced today (02) for clients of the Urban Development Authority (UDA) as part of the government's national digitalization programme, with the launch held at the Peliyagoda Manning General Market Complex under the patronage of Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development Bimal Rathnayake.

With the introduction of the service, more than 1,400 registered traders operating at the Manning Market can now make payments digitally through the government's GovPay platform, enabling secure and transparent transactions.

The payment facility can be accessed through the UDA web application, allowing users to complete payments online without the need for physical visits.
