Sri Lanka, March 13 -- The National People's Power (NPP) executive member Sunil Handunnetti yesterday said that the NPP will hold a discussion with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) team tomorrow (14) at the party headquarters.

Speaking to journalists in Colombo he said "if the International Monetary Fund wants to discuss with us, they have plenty of space to talk with us.

There are methods. A team from the IMF is now in Sri Lanka. They met our Economic Council before. Our positions were explained to them".

Handunnetti further said the IMF delegation has requested a discussion with the NPP and the party had consented for a meeting on March 14.
