Srilanka, May 1 -- This year's May Day celebration stands out as the most significant since independence, Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Anil Jayantha Fernando told the Daily News.
Fernando emphasised that the National People's Power (NPP) Government is committed to transforming the country's labour landscape after decades of structural neglect.
