Sri Lanka, March 24 -- Northern Province Governor N. Vethanayagan has voiced concern over certain officials failing to serve the people as intended, instead creating obstacles for them.

The Governor made these remarks while inaugurating two newly constructed market complexes within the Puthukkudiyiruppu marketplace.

One was built using Pradeshiya Sabha funds, while the other was developed under the World Bank-funded Local Development Assistance Programme. As part of the event, he also participated in a tree-planting ceremony within the market premises.
