Sri Lanka, Nov. 4 -- The Ministry of Education yesterday announced that all government schools in the country will be closed on November 15 in view of the Presidential Election on November 16.

The Ministry said that November 15 has been declared a holiday for all government schools in the country to facilitate the process of holding the Presidential polls on November 16.

A majority of the schools in the country are expected to be used as polling centres and counting centres.
