Sri Lanka, Jan. 16 -- Annaya Norbert of Sri Lanka triumphed over her compatriot Sahansa Damsiluni in the girls' semifinals in the ITF Asia Under-14 and Development Championship, held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association clay courts in Colombo yesterday.
Norbert won 6-1, 7-6, 6-3, advancing to the final of the competition, which saw participation from 10 countries across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia.
Sri Lanka's Damsath Peiris and Yudheerya Atapaththu secured a spot in the Boys' Doubles final. The pair defeated Pakistan's Shayan Muhammad and Rasheed Ali with a 6/2, 7/5 victory.
