Sri Lanka, Dec. 10 -- Annaya Norbert of Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya, Sahansa Damsiluni of Visakha Vidyalaya, Akeesha Silva of Newstead College Negombo, and Hasandi Jayasinghe of Musaeus College all qualified for the Girls Under-14 Singles semi-finals at the SLTA-YETI Hard Court Tennis Nationals, held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts in Colombo yesterday.

In the quarter-finals, Norbert dominated Sheshandi Fernando with a 6-1, 6-3 victory, while Damsiluni overcame Jani Dahansa with a solid 6-2, 6-3 performance. Silva displayed excellent form, defeating Sanuthi Wine 6-1, 6-2. In a tightly contested match, Jayasinghe triumphed over Eilza Gahagalla 6-4, 2-1, after Gahagalla retired injured.
