Srilanka, April 9 -- Cabinet Spokesperson and Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa has assured that the agreements signed during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Sri Lanka pose no threat to the country's sovereignty or national security.
Speaking at a media briefing held at the Government Information Department yesterday (April 8), the Minister clarified that there is no provision in the signed agreements that allows for the presence of foreign security forces or compromises the nation's independence.
