Sri Lanka, April 25 -- Deputy Minister of Defence, Major General Aruna Jayasekara, assured that Sri Lanka's national security remains intact, stating that the government has implemented a robust program to safeguard the nation.

He made these remarks while addressing the media following a discussion with residents of the Ranaviru Housing Complex in Ranajayapura, Anuradhapura, where long-standing local issues were reviewed with community leaders and local officials.

"Our objective today was to visit the War Heroes Village in Ranajayapura, engage with the community, and find solutions to ongoing concerns. We also discussed with relevant stakeholders how the Ministry of Defence can better support this village," the Deputy Minister said.
