Srilanka, Feb. 11 -- The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has announced that there will be no power outages tomorrow (12), as the board has successfully managed the existing electricity demand.

Following the sudden power failure last Sunday, all three generators at the Norochcholai Power Plant became inoperative, prompting the CEB to impose islandwide one-and-a-half-hour power cuts yesterday and today to balance electricity supply.

As part of this measure, power outages were scheduled in four groups over a six-hour period from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM. However, with improved power management, the CEB has now lifted the restrictions for tomorrow.
