Sri Lanka, May 16 -- Health and Mass Media Deputy Minister Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni yesterday assured the public that there is no widespread outbreak of Chickenpox in the country at present, and that there is no shortage of essential medications for the disease in Government hospitals.
Addressing recent media reports both in print and digital formats claiming a scarcity of medicine used to treat chickenpox, the Deputy Minister emphasized that these reports were misleading and aimed at creating unnecessary fear among the public.
