Sri Lanka, July 26 -- Leader of the House and Minister Bimal Ratnayake informed Parliament yesterday (25) that there is absolutely no need for Defence Deputy Minister Aruna Jayasekera to resign from his position in order to ensure an impartial investigation into the Easter Sunday attacks because the relevant investigation is conducted by the Public Security Ministry and not the Defence Ministry.

Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananda Wijepala said that he has previously made a full, detailed and a clear explanation to the Parliament regarding the Easter attacks.
