Sri Lanka, Jan. 21 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa told Parliament yesterday it is questionable why this Government is rushing to debate No-Confidence Motion submitted by the Opposition's when the Education Minister is not in the country.
There is an official procedure in the Constitution to bring a No-Confidence Motion and it does not have to process with the Government's approval.
However, he said that it is inconceivable why the government would want to bring a No-Confidence Motion when the Education Minister is not in the country.
He further said that this no-confidence motion should be debated without doing injustice to Education Minister and giving her the opportunity to express her views.
