India, June 17 -- The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has assured the public that there is no threat of a petroleum shortage in the country, despite misleading reports circulating on social media regarding potential disruptions due to the current unrest in the Middle East.

According to Energy Ministry sources, the CPC currently holds sufficient fuel reserves to meet the country's needs for the next two months. Additionally, all necessary arrangements have already been made to ensure the timely arrival of previously ordered fuel shipments.

The CPC urges the public not to be misled by baseless rumors and emphasizes that there is no need for panic buying or concern over fuel availability at this time.
