Sri Lanka, Dec. 29 -- Agriculture, Livestock, Lands, Irrigation and Mahaweli Development Minister K.D. Lal Kantha recently inspected the NLDB farm in Digana Mahaberiyatenna as part of the government's ongoing efforts to modernise and strengthen the livestock sector.

The farm, which is part of the National Livestock Development Board (NLDB), features a market selling NLDB products and a coffee shop promoting a coffee variety unique to Sri Lanka to foreign tourists. Highlighting the importance of this initiative, Minister Kantha discussed with officials ways to further develop these unique coffee varieties and enhance tourist engagement.
