Sri Lanka, June 21 -- National Lotteries Board (NLB) Chairman Anton Perera yesterday refuted MP Chamara Sampath Dassanayake for making false allegations under the cover of parliamentary privileges and challenged him to make allegations against him outside parliament over his involvement in the import of milch cows from Australia or obtaining an allowance of Rs. 25,000 for overseeing the lottery draw.
Perera said that he had made his presence only two occasions when lottery draws were taking place for the past nine months and the allegations made by the MPs that he is drawing Rs 25,000 for one draw is a lie.
