Sri Lanka, Jan. 27 -- In a significant step toward modernizing urban transit, the Ministry of Transport, Highways, and Urban Development has launched a project to construct a flyover connecting the Bastian Mawatha taxi park directly to the Colombo Fort Railway Station.
Announcing the project, Minister Bimal Rathnayake highlighted that Colombo's status as a vital economic and commercial hub demands infrastructure that respects the "value of time" for every commuter and entrepreneur entering the city.
