Sri Lanka, June 9 -- The National Police Commission has approved a new round of transfers and appointments involving several senior police officers, effective immediately.

Among the key appointments is Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) M.S. Mohan Lal, who has been assigned as the Director of Investigations at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

The reshuffle also includes Superintendents of Police (SPs) and Chief Inspectors, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen key operational and investigative units within the police service.
