Sri Lanka, Jan. 31 -- Aiming to make the bill payment method more convenient, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has introduced several new methods.

According to the CEB sources, with the new methods customers will be able to pay their electricity bills in a more efficient manner.

Accordingly, CEB consumers are now able to pay their bills using any of the several bill payment methods such as via the CEBCare mobile app, the official CEB website, online banking services, CEB or bank kiosk machines or at any post office, or through mCash at any Cargills or Keells supermarkets etc.

The CEB urged customers to dial the '1987' CEB hotline number in relation to any issues that may arise when settling their bills.
