Sri Lanka, July 12 -- The National Election Commission in a press release stated that they had received 161 complaints related to the forthcoming General Election on July 10 and 11.

Reportedly, 17 complaints were lodged with the National Election Complaints Management Centre and 144 complaints have been received by the District Election Complaints Centre. Accordingly, a total of 2781 complaints have been received by the National Election Complaints Management Centre regarding the violation of election laws so far.
