Srilanka, March 12 -- The National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) has urged any child victims willing to assist in the investigation against a tutoring teacher accused of assaulting students to come forward.

The NCPA has provided the 1929 hotline for victims to share information. Additionally, the authority has secured a travel ban against the accused teacher, who failed to appear before them as summoned by 2 PM yesterday.

His lawyer has informed authorities that the teacher traveled abroad last Sunday for personal reasons and has committed to presenting him before the NCPA on the 19th. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to arrest him.
