Sri Lanka, Jan. 31 -- The Navy last night (30) assisted a firefighting team from the Western Naval Command to extinguish a sudden fire that broke out in a container at the Fourth Yard (BQ4) of the Bandaranaike Jetty in the Colombo Port.
At around 07.45 last night, the Colombo Port Control Room informed the Western Naval Command Operations Room that smoke was coming out of a container at the Fourth Yard (BQ IV) of the Bandaranaike Jetty in the Colombo Port and requested the assistance of a firefighting team to investigate.
