Sri Lanka, Nov. 20 -- Sri Lankan Navy has apprehended six individuals along with a multi-day fishing vessel suspected of transporting a large drug shipment during a special operation in the southern seas near the country.Sri Lanka Travel Guide

Officials from the Navy stated that this seizure is believed to be the largest drug haul ever intercepted in Sri Lankan waters. The exact quantity of the suspected drugs will be determined once it is brought ashore for inspection.
