Sri Lanka, Nov. 1 -- The Sri Lanka Navy has seized a multi-day fishing vessel suspected of transporting a large stock of drugs in the deep sea off the western coast.

According to Navy sources, the operation was carried out during a special patrol in deep-sea waters, resulting in the interception of the suspicious vessel. Six suspects on board were taken into custody during the raid.
