Sri Lanka, Feb. 14 -- The Sri Lanka Navy arrested two suspects and seized more than 50 kilograms of hashish during a naval operation in the seas off Mannar today
The operation, carried out under the national mission "Nation United," resulted in naval personnel intercepting a dinghy carrying two sacks suspected to contain narcotics, leading to the arrest of the two individuals on board.
The suspects and the seized items were brought to the Thalpadu Jetty, where officers of the Police Narcotic Bureau conducted an examination, confirming that the sacks contained over 50 kilograms of hashish.
