Sri Lanka, March 3 -- In line with International Women's Day, which falls on Saturday (8), the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs has declared a National Women's Week to commemorate this significant occasion. The National Theme for this year's Women's Day is: "Strong she will be a pathway to build a sustainable future." From March 2-8, a series of nationwide programmes will be implemented, focusing on Women's Health, Awareness, Safety, Empowerment, and the enhancement of their Technological Skills to support their overall development.
