Sri Lanka, June 28 -- A case filed against Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa in connection with alleged criminal misappropriation of Rs. 70 million through the Krrish deal, was yesterday fixed for pre-trial conference on September 26, by the Colombo High Court.
The case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Pradeep Abeyratne. On a previous occasion, following serving the indictment, the accused was ordered to be released on cash bail of Rs. 100,000 and two sureties of Rs. 1,000,000 by the Colombo High Court.
