Srilanka, Feb. 18 -- A charge sheet was submitted today (18) at the Colombo High Court against Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa, accusing him of misappropriating Rs. 70 million in a transaction.

The charge sheet, filed by the Attorney General, was presented before Colombo High Court Judge Manjula Thilakarathna.

Following the submission, Judge Thilakarathna ordered the release of MP Namal Rajapaksa on bail.

However, the case has been postponed to March 27 for a decision on pre-trial proceedings.
