Sri Lanka, Sept. 8 -- SLPP General Secretary and MP Sagara Kariyawasam has alleged that the government is attempting to link MP Namal Rajapaksa to a drug-related case, describing the move as part of a dangerous conspiracy.
Speaking at a press briefing today (08), Kariyawasam claimed that the government is attempting to portray every shooting as an underworld-related incident in order to "sweep it all under the rug." He warned that Deputy Minister Watagala is allegedly trying to connect Namal Rajapaksa's name to the case.
