Srilanka, April 2 -- A discussion on providing assistance to the victims of the Myanmar earthquake was held yesterday (1) at the Myanmar Embassy in Flower Road, Colombo 07.

The discussion was attended by the founder and Vice-Chancellor of the Nagananda International Institute for Buddhist Studies, Ven. Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thera, and the Myanmar Ambassador to Sri Lanka Daw Marlar Than Htaik. During the meeting, Ven. Chandima Thera, on behalf of the Nagananda International Institute of Buddhist Studies, donated US$ 10,000 to assist the victims affected by the disaster in Myanmar.
