Srilanka, April 18 -- Five new Sri Lanka records were broken as Nalanda College and Musaeus College claimed top honours at the Junior National and Masters Lifesaving Championship, concluded last week at the Sri Lanka Lifesaving Headquarters in Mount Lavinia.
The two-day event, organised by Sri Lanka Lifesaving, began at the Sri Jayewardenepura University Swimming Pool Complex on April 10, and concluded with powerful performances from schools and clubs across the country.
Musaeus College dominated the girls' events, winning the Under-17 Championship, Under-20 Championship, and the Overall Women's Championship. Nalanda College, meanwhile, proved too strong in the boys' category and were crowned Overall Boys' Champions.
