Sri Lanka, Jan. 31 -- Colombo Chief Magistrate, Thanuja Lakmali, ordered yesterday that a mobile phone belonging to former Millaniya Pradeshiya Sabha member Ravindra Nammuni, be sent to the Government Analyst for a report. The former local government member was arrested over an allegedly defamatory social media post targeting National People's Power (NPP) MP Nilanthi Kottahachchi.
The order was issued after Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers requested an analysis report on the mobile phone recovered from the suspect.
