Sri Lanka, Dec. 11 -- SJB MP Gayantha Karunathilaka appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) this morning (11) to provide a statement regarding a building acquisition.

The investigation concerns the rental of a building in Rajagiriya for the Ministry of Agriculture during previous governments. Gayantha Karunathilaka, who previously served as a Cabinet Minister and Minister of Mass Media, was questioned in connection with this matter.

He arrived at the commission around 9 a.m. and gave his statement for approximately two hours before leaving.
