Sri Lanka, Feb. 6 -- A bribery case filed against former Minister A. H. M. Fowzie for allegedly causing over Rs. 1 million unlawful loss to the Government by using a vehicle for personal works, provided by the Dutch Government to the Disaster Management Centre was yesterday fixed for April 29 by the Colombo High Court.

When the case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Navaratne Marasinghe, President's Counsel Shavendra Fernando appearing for the defence inform the Court that he had requested from the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruptions (CIABOC) through a letter on January 16 for the consideration of the withdrawal of the indictment against his client.
