Sri Lanka, Dec. 24 -- MP Ramanathan Archuna has been released on bail after surrendering to the Fort Police earlier today (24).

The 23-year-old lawmaker was arrested following a warrant issued by the Fort Magistrate's Court for failing to appear in connection with the ongoing case.

Further proceedings in the case are expected as the legal process continues.
