Sri Lanka, Dec. 22 -- A manager of a trading establishment in Ambalangoda town was shot and killed this morning (22) in a targeted attack.

Police reported that the shooting was carried out by two individuals on a motorcycle, who fled the scene immediately.

Authorities have since recovered the motorcycle, found abandoned on the Ambalangoda Kurunduwatta-Adadola road, as part of the ongoing investigation.

Ambalangoda Police are continuing inquiries to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the fatal shooting.
