Sri Lanka, Aug. 30 -- Off-spinner Lahiru Amarasekara starred with a match haul of 10 wickets as Moors SC secured a seven-wicket win over NCC in their Under-23 two-day fixture at Moors Grounds yesterday.
The former St. Joseph's spinner took 7 for 38 in the first innings and 3 for 36 in the second, restricting NCC to 175 and 111 in their two innings. Moors SC posted 190 and chased down the 96-run target in just 9.3 overs, powered by a rapid 54 off 22 balls from opener Omesh Mendis.
