Sri Lanka, Oct. 14 -- Sri Lanka men's and women's teams off to a winning start at the 28th ITTF - ATTU Asian Table Tennis Team Championship which is now in progress in Bhubaneswar, India.
At the men's team event Sri Lanka beat Kyrgyzstan 3-1 in their group 1 first game while Sri Lanka girls' team defeated Mongolia 3-0 in their group 1 game yesterday to get good start in this highly competitive Asian TT championship .
According to the ranking Sri Lanka men's team is at 15th position while women's team is at 16th position.
