Sri Lanka, March 15 -- Sri Lanka is reviewing a response from Adani Green Energy Sri Lanka Limited regarding its stance on wind power projects in the country, Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody said. The Ministry sought clarification after Adani Group informed the Board of Investment about its withdrawal from the projects.
He was responding to a question by SJB MP Ajith Perera. The wind power projects in Mannar and Pooneryn, previously linked to Adani, have been entangled in legal and procedural issues. Minister Jayakody emphasized that these complications must be resolved before re-tendering the projects.
