Sri Lanka, Jan. 30 -- The Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs, Hon. Ananda Wijepala, conducted an official inspection tour of the Civil Security Department (CSD) Headquarters yesterday (29).
During the visit, the minister reviewed the department's current operations, evaluated performance challenges, and discussed practical solutions to address existing shortcomings.
Highlighting a strategic reorganization of human resources, Minister Wijepala announced that the government intends to second approximately 5,000 Civil Security personnel to the Department of Wildlife to bolster conservation efforts.
Furthermore, another 10,000 personnel will be attached to the Sri Lanka Police to strengthen national public security frame...
