Sri Lanka, Oct. 3 -- Environment Minister Dr. Dammika Patabendi has promised to provide necessary facilities for a 15-year-old boy to continue his wildlife conservation and research work, following the seizure of his reptile collection by the Wildlife Conservation Department (DWLC).

Nadun Dilhara, a resident of Ambatalaagama, Mihintale, had maintained a mini collection of reptiles at his home. He focused on treating the injured reptiles, safely capturing venomous snakes that entered homes, releasing them into the wild and preserving deceased animals as specimen.
